Read about the camping part here . This hike was such a great workout. Being 2 miles, with some decent elevation, we were sweaty . And it was overcast for most of the day, so I'm sure if the sun were out all day, it would be a good idea to carry an extra shirt (for anyone carrying their own squish, as well as for the squish). Cougar Rock Campground (2nd Camping Trip!)

LOCATION : Mt. Rainier National Park, 2 miles past Longmire, WA CAMPGROUND : Cougar Rock Campground PRICE : $20-40/night We paid $20 for our site AMENITIES : There are no electric, water or sewer hook-ups available at individual campsites. A free dump station and potable water are located near the campground entrance. Maximum six people per campsite. Many campsites can only accommodate four or less. HIKING OPPORTUNITIES : Yes! Plenty! (we actually hiked Mount Beljica during our stay!) Mingle with friends. Try and put baby down. Fail because it's too light out. Let baby fall asleep in arms. Put to bed once dark. Be amazed when you wake up more in the night than The Squish does. Saturday: Wake up a little early due to light. Hike Mount Beljica. Hang out at camp. Eat S'mores....
