The Squish is 3.5 months old (16 weeks)
Camping Trip #2
Friday:
Arrive, set up camp.
Mingle with friends.
Try and put baby down. Fail because it's too light out. Let baby fall asleep in arms. Put to bed once dark.
Be amazed when you wake up more in the night than The Squish does.
Saturday:
Wake up a little early due to light.
Hike Mount Beljica.
Hang out at camp.
Eat S'mores.
Go to bed a little later than normal.
Sunday:
Wake up slightly earlier than usual.
Take down camp.
Finish packing up the car just as it starts to rain.
Drive home.
Again, we were really thankful for our hammock.
I wish we would have made a packing list because we forgot warm jammies, and The Squish's sleep sack (had to make an emergency detour to Target to snag another one! ......now we have three.)
Items you'll never regret bringing when camping with a baby:
Blankets--to lay on, to layer with, etc
Anything to prop them up and be involved when not being held
Jackets for baby!
Hats, hats, hats--of all kinds (sun hats! cozy hats!)
Camping Trip #2 officially in the books.
